ST. LOUIS- Keyyaun Batchman has landed his second AMC Player of the Week Award. The Spartans took on College of the Ozarks and Baptist Bible College last week where Batchman posted a combined total of 50 points.
 
The St. Louis native posted a career high of 30 points in a single game against BBC this past Saturday (Nov 25), beating his previous record of 27 points. The senior also broke other career highs in the Baptist Bible game including field goals made with 11 and free throws made with 8. Along with his career high achievements, Batchman also led the team in steals with five and shot 89% from the free throw line.  The senior was also a leading scorer for the Spartans in their matchup against C of O. With 20 points on the board, Batchman was only three points shy of being the top scoring player in the game.
 
Overall, Batchman tops the stats in a number of scoring categories for MBU. With 16.9 points per game, Batchman has solidified his position as the leading scorer for the Spartans. He also tops the stats when it comes to field goals, making on average 11.1 per game as well as leading the team in steals with a total of 20.
