KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Following his impressive 2023 season at Missouri Baptist University, senior pitcher Anthony Green is being recognized as an NAIA Baseball All-America Selection, the NAIA announced today.
 
The senior from St. Louis finished last season with an 11-2 record with an ERA of 3.52 in 76 and two-thirds innings. His 117 strikeouts led the Spartans and placed him sixth in the entire NAIA in that category. He was a Second Team All-America choice a year ago when he was also named as the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Year and the AMC Newcomer Pitcher of the Year as well as a first-team all-conference selection.
 
The MBU Spartans Baseball season begins next Thursday (February 1) when they travel to Hattiesburg, Miss. to play a four-game series against No. 4-ranked William Carey University and Campbellsville University.
