ST. LOUIS – After playing on the road for the past two games, Missouri Baptist University Women's Soccer will return home to face the University of Jamestown this evening (Oct. 10).
MBU walks into today's match with three wins on the season, but they have yet to come out victorious on Spartan Field. This week, senior goalkeeper
Gabby Mattli added American Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week to the team's resume as well.
Jamestown has four wins on the 2024 season, already having matched up with a few of the teams Missouri Baptist has played.
Both MBU and UJ lost to Central Methodist University and Campbellsville University earlier in their seasons. They also both beat Williams Baptist University.
The Jimmies have 17 goals, while the Spartans have nine. Both teams have similar shot on goal percentages, with UJ's being .538 and MBU's being .531.
