LAS VEGAS, Nev. –
Mackenzie McIntyre and
Kassandra Foss led Missouri Baptist University bowling over two tournaments in Las Vegas, Nev., over the weekend.
At the Glenn Carlson Invitational from Dec. 18-19, the Spartan women placed 14th out of 38 teams, while the men finished 38
th out of 55 teams.
Kassandra Foss took 20
th out of 277 bowlers with an average of 202.75 and a high of 256 in the seventh game.
Charlie Hunter led the way for the men as an individual, in 66
th place out of 523 with an average of 195.5.
In the Collegiate Shootout from Dec. 20-21, the women placed a spot higher in 13
th of 38 with a total pinfall of 7,462. MacKenzie McIntyre averaged 201 with a 225 game-high to place 13
th out of 237. Freshman
Amber Lymenstull also broke out with a 187.6 average including a 223 in the second game to take 41
st.
On the men's side, the team finished qualifying in 24
th of 55 with a 4,900 total pinfall.
The season continues after the Christmas Break in Chicago, Ill., at the ISBPA/Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic beginning on Saturday, Jan. 18.
