The Spartans' success did not end in the second quarter as they continued to lengthen their lead.
Sophia Horton helped MBU extend their lead over the Hornets as she pulled down four rebounds and got eight points in the second quarter.
Horton and Winch each had double digits at the break as they led the scoring total with 11 points each.
At the break MBU was shooting at a 53.6 percent rate from the field, and they were outscoring HSSU in the paint 26-14.
Missouri Baptist got out to a quick start in the second half as they went on a 16-3 run to boost their lead to 31 points.
In the third quarter alone MBU shot a lights out 70.6 percent leading to 76-40 score going into the final frame.
Azori Edwards had the Carl & Deloris Petty SRC jumping after she knocked down a triple with just over 30 seconds left in the half and a jumper that beat the final third quarter buzzer on her way to 10 points in the quarter.
The Spartans were able to outscore the Hornets 22-19 in the fourth quarter as they went on to win 98-59.
Edwards led the Spartans in scoring with 20 points along with five rebounds, and Winch, Horton, Mansour, and Tyler Butler also had double digit points.
Mansour tallied another double-double with 11 points and 11 assists.
Horton finished with 14 points and eight rebounds to tie her season high in rebounds.
MBU outscored HSSU 56-22 in the paint and shot 56.3 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc.
The Spartans will go on the road for their next contest as they take on Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
