ST. LOUIS – Marko Dordevic was named Offensive Player of the Week for the American Midwest Conference after scoring six goals in three matches last week.

"Marko has worked hard in the offseason to improve, and his play has reached another level," said head coach Jake Alvernia. "He's been instrumental in the first four games this season, earning Man of the Match honors in the last three games with two goals in each."

In the team's three matches against Hope International University, Corban University, and Warner Pacific University, Dordevic netted two goals in each contest, bringing his total to six goals in just the first four matches of the 2024 season.

This is the third AMC Player of the Week award for Dordevic in his career with the Spartans.

Missouri Baptist University returns home for its season opener against Benedictine College on Saturday at 6 p.m. CDT at Spartan Field.
