Box Score ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist University Women's Soccer lost on the road 7-1 against ninth-ranked Cumberland University on Saturday (Sept. 7).
The Spartans produced a scrappy game and never ceased to fight the Phoenix until the end of the match, but the ranked team's offense proved to be too powerful to completely stop.
MBU took five shots, two of which were on net.
AnnaRose Eldred and
Skylar Hollingshead each put the ball on goal once.
On the defensive end,
Gabby Mattli made five saves.
Missouri Baptist will play Culver Stockton College at on Wednesday (Sept. 11), looking for a home win.
