ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Baptist University women's soccer team will host the last regular season game on Saturday, hosting William Penn for Senior Day at 4 p.m. at Spartan Field. The Spartans look to finish strong in front of the home crowd before postseason play begins.
Missouri Baptist (4-8-3) enters the weekend after a tough loss against Clark University. The Spartans' attack has been led by Natalie Gum, who continues to pace the team in four goals and 31 shots, while Jordyn Maryas anchors the defense with 74 saves.
Saturday's match will also serve as a celebration for Missouri Baptist's seniors — Kacey Watson, Emma Selsor, Natalie Gum, Ellie Mollish, Gabbie Wood, and Piper Brockmeier. This group has made a lasting impact on the program, both on and off the field.
Over their careers, they have combined 31 goals, 22 assists, and 236 shots and have helped build a culture of dedication and leadership within the Spartans' program.
Kickoff is set for 4 p.m., and fans are encouraged to arrive early for Senior Day recognition 20 minutes before the match.
