GAINSVILLE, Fla. –
Alaina Scott and
Mia Duncan wrapped up the Indoor Track & Field season by competing at the NAIA National Championships in their respective events over the weekend.

Scott competed on Thursday afternoon in the pole vault and cleared 3.60m, which was good for 14
th of 22. She qualified for the national meet after originally hitting 3.80m at the NAIA/Juco Challenge back on Jan. 25, in Pittsburg, Kan.,
breaking the meet record in the event and earning the first-place spot. Â

Duncan ran in the third heat of the women's 1000m run preliminaries on Friday and took 13
th of 20 with a total time of 2:59.09, four seconds off earning a spot in the finals on Saturday. The senior from Augusta, Mo., originally qualified for the meet after hitting the NAIA B Standard at the Steve Miller Invitational on Feb. 7.
