ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Baptist University men's and women's tennis teams both fell to Oakland City University on Friday afternoon at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
Women's Tennis
MBU women's tennis dropped to 6-3 overall and 4-3 at home with a 4-0 loss to the Mighty Oaks.
The Spartans were unable to secure a match, suffering a sweep in a tough defeat.
Men's Tennis
MBU men's tennis fell to No. 20-ranked OCU, 5-2, dropping to 6-4 on the season and 6-3 at home.
Despite losing the doubles point, Lucas Kzam and Filip Petrovic notched a 6-2 doubles victory.
In singles play, Luca da Silva Ebenriter earned a 6-1, 6-2 win, while Nicolas Sanchez secured a 6-4, 6-2 victory. However, their efforts weren't enough to overcome the Mighty Oaks in the 5-2 loss.
