Alaina Scott and
Mia Duncan took the American Midwest Conference's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Honors (Wk. 6) for their performances at the Kentucky University Kansas Relays (April 17) and the Culver Stockton Wildcat Open (April 18).
Both athletes received these honors previously during the indoor and outdoor seasons as well.Â
Scott shined at the Wildcat Open, hitting an NAIA "B" standard and punching her ticket to nationals. She finished first in the pole vault, recording a 3.65 m mark.
Duncan displayed an excellent performance at the Kansas Relays, finishing second in the 1500 m (4:45.35). She also took first place in the unseeded collegiate 1500 m, reaching a personal record of 4:44.37.
They are both now eligible for NAIA Track & Field Athletes of the Week, which will be announced on Wednesday, (April 21).
