Spartans Land Three on NAIA Men’s Volleyball All-America Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missouri Baptist University men's volleyball had Michael Olson, David Rudic, and Marko Jovanovic named to the NAIA All-American teams on Thursday. The senior setter, Rudic, and graduate outside hitter, Olson, were both recognized as First Team All-Americans. Jovanovic was selected for the second team.

Rudic had an impressive season, earning Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Setter of the Year, All-HAAC First Team honors, two NAIA Setter of the Week awards, and four Heart of America Setter of the Week awards. Rudic sits first in the conference and second in the nation for assists per set at 11.05. Throughout the season, Rudic produced 1,238 assists, which allowed him to reach exactly 4,000 assists for his career. He currently sits second in program history.

The HAAC Co-Player of the Year, Olson, had a career year with 3.60 kills per set, a .324 attack percentage, and 59 total blocks. His 407 total kills have him ranked first in the conference and third nationally. The Wildwood, Mo., native ends his career with 830 kills, a 2.49 K/S, a .288 hitting percentage, and 121 total blocks.

Jovanovic, the HAAC Attacker of the Year, was placed on the second team for finishing fourth in the nation with 406 kills. He hit .309 in 2025 with 3.56 kills per set, 1.57 digs per set, and 45 total blocks.

MBU volleyball ended the season at 27-6 overall and 17-2 in the HAAC. They made a run to the conference championship game and qualified for NAIA National Championship Pool Play, where they went 1-1.
