ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist University women's soccer was defeated 5-0 against the University of the Cumberlands in the season opener Thursday afternoon at Spartan Field.
Freshman midfielder Anna White and junior defender Annarose Eldred each recorded a shot on goal. Goalkeeper Hannah Miller also tabbed 11 saves, which set a new single-game high for her career, surpassing her five-save performance at Baker University on Aug. 24, 2024.
The Spartans will be on the road for their next game, Saturday, August 23, to take on the Campbellsville University Tigers at 1 p.m.
