ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist University men's soccer team has just one match on the schedule this week, as they travel to Lamoni, Iowa, to face Graceland University on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m.
The Spartans and Yellow Jackets have met just three times in program history, with MBU holding a 2-1 advantage in the series. The most recent matchup came on Sept. 6, 2019, when the Spartans earned a 2-1 victory.
MBU has defended home turf well, winning both contests in St. Louis. However, their lone trip to Lamoni in 2007 ended in a 0-6 setback.
The Yellow Jackets have already earned conference wins over Benedictine College (Kan.) and William Woods University (Mo.), two opponents the Spartans have also faced this season.
The Spartans have just seven Heart of America Athletic Conference matchups remaining in 2025, and they aim to add this contest to the win column.
