ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist University women's soccer team fell 5-0 on Saturday afternoon, as Benedictine College controlled play throughout the match.
The Spartans were held without a goal despite recording several shot attempts. The Ravens capitalized on their chances, scoring three times in the first half before adding two more after the break to secure the win. The Spartans were outshot in this match 25-4. The Ravens produced an assist for each of the five goals.
Junior goalkeeper Jordan Maryas made her first game appearance of the season in the second half, where she recorded two saves. Hannah Miller got the start and made six saves.
The homestand continues for MBU on Sept. 10 against No. 19 Cumberland University at 11 a.m.
