Baldwin City, Kan.- The Missouri Baptist University women's wrestling team competed against the Baker University Wildcats on Wednesday evening. The Spartans fell 33-7 as Zoe Fries picked up the only win of the night. 

Neither team had a 103, but the next four weights favored the Wildcats. Zoe Fries came away with a fall at the 4:28 mark to put the Spartans on the board. The Spartans fell in the final three weights but won the final two matches by decision, so they claimed two additional points. 

The Spartans look ahead to hosting the MBU Open this Friday. Wrestling starts at 9 a.m.
