Kassandra Foss earned the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Bowler of the Week award on Tuesday after a stellar performance at the Hoosier Classic over the weekend.
The senior from Kennewick, Wash., helped the Spartans to a sixth-place team finish by placing second out of 468 bowlers with a 222 average and a five-game pinfall of 1,110.
She fired a 277 out of the gate, followed by a 227, 202, 194, and 210. Foss was 14 total pins behind the leader, Brooke Binder, from Aquinas College.
MBU will take on the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships this weekend, beginning on Saturday, Feb. 21, at AMF Town & Country Lanes in Columbia, Mo.
