Allison Leigraf and John Dahl were selected as the March Raising Cane's Spartan Athletes of the Month on Wednesday, April 1.
 
Leigraf was recognized for her dominant performance at the plate, carrying the No. 10 Missouri Baptist University softball team to a 14-2 record in March.
 
The senior third baseman posted a .438 on-base percentage (OBP) and .933 slugging percentage (SLG), batting .400 with 18 hits in 45 at-bats. Leigraf scored 13 runs, drove in 21 RBI, and clubbed seven home runs in 16 games.
 
In a 12-1 win over William Penn (IA) on March 20, she was 3-3 with two home runs and six RBI.
 
Dahl, a senior attacker for the men's lacrosse team, made an impressive debut for the Spartans. The transfer from Lindenwood University racked up 17 goals, nine assists, and 26 points in just four games. 11 of these goals came from a 36-0 shutout against Missouri Valley College on March 14, setting a program single-game record and earning Heart Offensive Player of the Week honors on March 16.  
 
Dahl recorded a .321 shot percentage and .509 shot-on-goal percentage in March, averaging 4.25 goals, 2.25 assists, and 6.5 points per game.
 
The Raising Cane's Athlete of the Month award recognizes outstanding performances by Missouri Baptist University student-athletes throughout the academic year.
