ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist University is pleased to announce the hiring of Jace Lobner as the next Assistant Athletic Director for Media and Communications. 

Lobner brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with the Heart of America Athletic Conference to MBU, serving most recently as the Sports Information Coordinator at Heart member William Woods University. In this role, Lobner was responsible for all aspects of sports information, including website management, statistical oversight, and social media presence. 

"We are thrilled to welcome Jace Lobner as our new Assistant Athletic Director for Media & Communications," said MBU Director of Athletics Jeff Fore. "Jace brings a proven track record of reliability, professionalism, and excellence from his time at William Woods, and we are excited for the leadership and stability he will bring to our media and communications department." 

Prior to becoming a full-time staff member, Lobner spent a year as a graduate assistant in the sports information office at William Woods. During this time, he assisted the athletic department's transition from the American Midwest Conference to the Heart of America.

Lobner holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Science in Media Communication from Hannibal-LaGrange University. 

In the role of Assistant Athletic Director for Media and Communications, Lobner will direct the storytelling, coverage, digital presence, and broadcast production for Missouri Baptist Athletics.
