ST. LOUIS – [RESULTS] Missouri Baptist women's tennis had a difficult day on Saturday as the Spartans dropped their seventh match of the season to Graceland University 0-5.
It was a tough day at the office for the Spartans as the team ran into an extremely talented Yellow Jackets squad, which is sitting just outside the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
Saturday's closest match came in singles as MBU's Kat Randolph gave Graceland's Karina Cardiel all she could handle. After Randolph dropped the first match 6-3, she came back and nearly upset her opponent, but dropped a tight 7-6 decision in the end.
With the loss, Missouri Baptist dropped to 1-7 on the year. The team will head back to action on Friday at Webster University. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Webster Groves.
