St. Louis – The women's tennis team picks up another win over the weekend against Stephens College.  Overall the team sealed the win with a 7-2 lead.

In doubles the Spartans dominated the court, winning all three rounds:

Nika Juricic and Shelby Mund (MBU) def Dina Kasissi and Courtney Huels (SC) 8-6

Kathryn Randolph and Haley Grueber (MBU) def Chelsea Cross and Gracie Strawn (SC) 8-3

Sheena Payton and Nicole Savant (MBU) def Dani Kelley and Emily Mendoza (SC) 8-1

The Spartans continued to prove themselves in singles as the team fared well with four of six winning their matches:

Nika Juricic (MBU) def Dina Kaissi (SC) 6-1, 6-4

Chelsea Cross (SC) def Shelby Mund (MBU) 6-0, 6-3

Courtney Huels (SC) def Kathryn Randolph (MBU) 6-0, 6-03

Haley Grueber (MBU) def Gracie Strawn (SC) 6-4, 3-6, (10-8)

Nicole Savant (MBU) def Emily Mendoza (SC) 6-0, 6-0
