ST. LOUIS – The American Midwest Conference office named Missouri Baptist women's soccer player Mary Lee as the Offensive Player of the Week.
Lee, a transfer from Oakland University, has her debut for Missouri Baptist in the fall 2014 season.
Lee has played in three games for the Spartans and has made great strides. In her first and second game for the Spartans, Lee posted one shot. But that was only the beginning.
As Missouri Baptist played their second conference game against Stephens College, Mary Lee posts the first hat trick of her career. Lee also posted career/season highs of total points (6), shots (4), and shots on goal (3).
Head coach Deno Merrick says, "Mary is a fighter and a very technical player. (Having) players of Mary's quality will only benefit the team and the players around her."
