ST. LOUIS [BOX SCORE] – The Spartans fall to 0-1-1 after falling just short to Martin Methodist University, 0-1.  

Missouri Baptist were only able to get one shot off in the first half as Martin Methodist took the offensive in the first half.  The Red Hawks made their way through the Spartans defense at the end on the first half making the half time score 1-0 in favor of Martin Methodist.

The Spartans were able to get off a few more shots in the second half, but were unable to find the net.  The Red Hawks continued to push the Spartan defense through the end of the game.

Melissa Patchin, Hannah McElroy, and Megan Allen all had one shot.  Goalie, Kathryn Kessler, had five saves on the game. 

The Spartans will travel to Graceland University on Tuesday, September 9,2014.
