Alex Lair returns to these awards with her second Defensive Player of the Week honor. After a rough start to the season, Lair has helped her Spartans to a 6-3-1 record in the AMC. This past week, she recorded 20 saves in two games. Lair kept her team close against #RV Columbia College this past week, recording 12 saves in the 2-1 loss. She then went on to post her second shutout of the season against Freed-Hardeman University. Lair sits third in the AMC with a 1.72 goals against average while being fourth in total saves with 99 in 2015.
