DOUBLES PLAY CONTINUES TO FARE WELL AS WOMEN'S TENNIS EARNS 7-2 VICTORY OVER STEPHENS

ST. LOUIS – [Results] The Missouri Baptist women's tennis pounded Stephens College this afternoon, taking the match 7-2.

As they did on Friday, the Spartans won all three doubles matches.

Nika Juricic and Kathryn Randolph won at No. 1 doubles, 8-2.

Shelby Mund and Nicole Savant continued to play well together, as the duo won at No. 2 doubles, 8-6.

At No. 3 doubles, Haley Grueber and Lindsey Kuehnel never allowed their opponent to gain momentum, as the two blanked the Stars, 8-0.

Juricic won at No. 1 singles, 8-2.

Randolph and Mund fell in their singles, match, but Savant, Grueber, and Kuehnel added to the scoring damage.

Savant won at No. 4 singles, 8-0, while Grueber won 6-0 and 6-1. No. 6 singles player Lindsey Keuhnel kept match in hand, as she won 6-0 and 6-0.

Missouri Baptist will head to the AMC Tournament on April 24.
