ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist University senior Hayden Crowe was named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by CoSIDA, on Thursday. Acknowledged as one of the most selective and prestigious awards in college athletics, the Google Cloud Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 3.

Majoring in Business Administration with a 3.60 cumulative GPA, Crowe will be a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and AMC Academic All-Conference honoree.

On the field, the Jackson, Tenn. native has been the Spartans' No. 1 pitcher of the bullpen all season. The senior holds a team-best 1.78 earned run average in 35.1 innings (most of any non-starter). His career ERA of 2.52 is second in program history.
