SAINT LOUIS – Spartans' first baseman
Cole Robinson has been tabbed as the American Midwest Conference as the Player of the Week, the AMC announced today.
The nod follows a week in which the junior from St. Louis hit .546 (6 for 11) with three home runs, a double, and two singles and was responsible for six RBIs.
The AMC award is the second this season for Robinson, having previously been recognized in Week Three (Feb. 19). He joins fellow infielder
Alex Adams along with pitchers
Landon Albers and
Jackson Wells as Spartans who have received weekly recognition this season. Robinson also claimed the Player of the Week Award in the final week of the 2023 regular season, making this his third such honor of his career.
The Spartans will return to the field tomorrow when they host Mission University (Mo.) for a 2:00 p.m. first pitch.
