ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Baptist women's soccer team will look to continue its momentum this week as it faces a pair of crucial conference opponents — first hosting Baker University on Wednesday, followed by a trip to take on Clarke University on Saturday. 

The Spartans enter the week coming off a win against Mount Mercy University, advancing their record to 4-7-2 overall and a 4-3-1 conference record.  

At home, Missouri Baptist will aim to continue its strong play at Spartan Field, where the team has 3-4-1. The Wildcats currently sit 3-6-3 and bring an offensive-minded approach, scoring twelve goals in the past six games.  

After the midweek matchup, the Spartans travel to Dubuque, Iowa, to take on Clarke University. The weekend clash could have key implications in the conference standings, as both teams are battling for a shot at postseason play. 

Kickoff for Wednesday's home match is set for 4 p.m., while Saturday's road contest is scheduled for 5 p.m.
