QUINCY, Ill.- The Missouri Baptist University's women's wrestling squad fell in their season opener against Quincy (Ill.). The Spartans contested the Q-Hawks at eight of the ten weights.
Seven wrestlers made their collegiate debut in the navy & white. The highlight for MBU came at 207 when Loghan Sumner lost a tight 4-3 decision to add to the MBU Score.
The Spartans will be back in action when they head to Marietta, Ga., to compete in a tri-match against the Andrew College Tigers and the returning national champions and current No. 1 team in the country, the Life University Running Eagles, on Friday night.
