NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. —Missouri Baptist University's women's lacrosse once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom, earning national recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for the 2024–25 academic year.
The Spartans were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, an accolade given to programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher. MBU was one of only nine NAIA institutions to receive the honor.
In addition to the team award, four student-athletes were named to the IWLCA NAIA Academic Honor Roll. The IWLCA honored 66 student-athletes from 12 different institutions on the 2024-25 IWLCA NAIA Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
