Missouri Baptist Set for Two-Game Week Against Harris-Stowe and Benedictine

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist women's soccer team is set for a busy week, hosting two home matches at Spartan Field. The Spartans face Harris-Stowe State University on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. before turning around to meet Benedictine College on Saturday at 2 p.m. This will be Missouri Baptist's first conference game of the season.

Missouri Baptist will look to gain momentum in the midweek contest against Harris-Stowe, a longtime, neighboring rival. The Spartans have had 22 wins, four losses, and one tie against the Hornets.

Saturday's match against Benedictine will provide another test for the Spartans, as the Ravens enter the season with a reputation for disciplined defense and aggressive offense. The Ravens went 9-2 in conference play last season. The contest will also mark Missouri Baptist's first Heart of America Athletics Conference game.

Both games will be played at Spartan Field.
