ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Baptist University women's soccer team will return to action this Saturday with a road matchup against Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
The Spartans (3-7-1) are looking to build momentum as the season enters its mid-stretch, aiming to sharpen their attack and stay consistent on defense. The last time the Spartans and Yellowjackets faced off was September 6, 2019, where the Spartans fell 1-0. Though with Jordyn Maryas in the net and several key players on offense, they look to bounce back.
Graceland University (4-4-2) enters the match seeking to defend its home field and test Missouri Baptist's back line with a direct style of play. The Yellowjackets have shown flashes of attacking power this season, relying on speed in transition to generate chances. Graceland will look to capitalize on set pieces and quick counters as it attempts to secure a key nonconference win.
Kickoff is set for Saturday at 5 p.m.
