PARKVILLE, Mo. – No. 8 Missouri Baptist University baseball looks to extend its 11-game winning streak in a four-game series at Park University (Mo.) beginning on Friday, March 27. The Spartans and Pirates play a doubleheader at Comfort Field in Parkville, Mo., on Friday at noon, followed by a second doubleheader at noon on Saturday, March 28.

MBU has not lost since Friday, March 6, at (RV) Freed-Hardeman University. Since winning the second game of the March 6 doubleheader, the team has swept Baker University (Kan.) in four games, MidAmerica Nazarene University (Kan.) in four games, and won two at home against Culver-Stockton College.

They currently sit first in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings with an 8-0 record in league play and a 20-4 overall record.
Eddie Uschold's squad also continues to move up in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, jumping from No. 11 in the March 4 poll to No. 8 in the
March 18 poll.

Over the win streak,
Carlos Hidalgo has paced the offense with 18 hits, four home runs, and 18 RBI with a .429 batting average.
Jayden Orozco and
Sam Paule have each driven in 14 runs, with
Nick Beech at 13 and three home runs.

The MBU bullpen has also been lights out over the last 11 games, allowing just three earned runs, highlighted by a pair of saves and six strikeouts over four innings from
Zach Peters and a 2.45 earned run average over 7.1 innings from
Austin Szverra.

The Pirates enter the four-game set with a 10-15 overall record, including 1-7 in the Heart. They split a home doubleheader on Tuesday, March 24, with William Penn University after losing three out of four on the road at William Woods University over the weekend.
