MELBOURNE, Fla. – Kaylie Brake extended No. 15 Missouri Baptist University softball's winning streak to five games with a 4-1 complete game win over Huntington University in the circle.
The sophomore from McCleansboro, Ill., went the distance with two strikeouts and one earned run over seven innings of work to improve her record to 8-2. The win improved the team's overall record to 12-5.

Brake opened the game with a seven-pitch top of the first inning to retire the side in order.
Alexi Sanchez doubled home a pair of runners in the bottom half to open a 2-0 lead and to add to her team-best 22 total RBI this season.
Huntington got one back in the top of the third when Makinzie Kline bunted for a single and came around to score on Jess Duvall's RBI double to centerfield.
In the bottom of the fourth, the Spartans got the run back on
Miranda Ladson's second home run of the campaign to make the score 3-1. In the fifth, the lead extended to three runs when
Makayla Johnson doubled with one out and scored on
Alohilani Bursey's RBI single up the middle.
Brake closed the game out in the final two frames, working around a two-out walk in the sixth and a pair of singles to begin the seventh.
Maddie Duvall stepped in as the tying run with two outs in the seventh, but Bursey robbed a two-RBI hit with a diving catch to complete the contest with a 4-1 final.
