GREENWOOD, Ind. – Allison Leigraf was announced to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2026 Academic All-America® First Team on Tuesday.
She delivered one of the most productive offensive seasons in program history in 2026, earning multiple national and conference honors while maintaining a perfect grade-point average as a senior accounting major.
Leigraf was named NAIA All-America Third Team and NFCA All-America Second Team, in addition to being selected as the Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference honoree. She also earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District® Team and was recognized during the season as NAIA Player of the Week (April 21, 2026) and Heart Player of the Week (April 20, 2026).
On the field, Leigraf appeared in 54 games and finished with a .340 batting average, totaling 55 hits, 50 runs scored, and program single-season records of 16 home runs and 61 RBI. She added 11 doubles and two triples while posting a .728 slugging percentage. She also drew 19 walks and went a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen base attempts.
After a slow start through the opening weeks of February, Leigraf found her rhythm in mid-March and became a fixture in the middle of the Spartans' order. She recorded multi-hit performances in 18 contests, including a season-high three hits against Clarke (Iowa) on April 16, a game in which she also scored three runs and added a triple.
Her most productive stretch came during conference play, highlighted by a dominant doubleheader against William Penn (Iowa) on March 20. In the opener, Leigraf went 3-for-3 with two home runs and a season-best six RBI. She followed with another RBI performance in game two, part of a stretch that saw her drive in 15 runs over a six-game span.
Leigraf continued her surge into April, raising her batting average above .370 at its peak. She recorded an RBI in 10 of 12 games during one stretch, including a five-RBI effort against Mount Mercy and a four-RBI game at Peru State. Her power production remained consistent late in the year, including a two-home run performance against Indiana Wesleyan University in the NAIA Opening Round on May 11.
Defensively, Leigraf totaled 146 chances and recorded a .959 fielding percentage with 98 assists and 42 putouts. She contributed to four double plays and posted a season-high six assists against Southern Oregon on February 20.
