SMITHVILLE, Mo. – Missouri Baptist University closed out play at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday, April 28, with a sixth-place finish at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex.
The Spartans posted a three-round total of 895 (+31), carding rounds of 297, 295, and 303 to finish the tournament.
Luke Gardner led Missouri Baptist and tied for 19th individually with a 223 (+7). Gardner recorded rounds of 75, 77, and 71, finishing with the team's top placement. He was also recognized as an All-Conference selection following the event.
Will Dugal followed closely, tying for 15th at 221 (+5) after rounds of 71, 71, and 79.
William Bomkamp added a tie for 19th at 223 (+7), posting rounds of 76, 71, and 76.
Pedro Cordova finished tied for 29th with a 228 (+12), while
Logan Malott rounded out the scoring lineup in a tie for 46th at 239 (+23).
Missouri Valley College captured the team title with a 855 (-9), while Felipe Suarez earned medalist honors at 206 (-10).
