The MBU men's soccer team is glad to have this week over. With a loss to Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday, the Spartans dropped their third game in one week. The Spartans lost the contest to KWU 2-3 at Soccer Park in Fenton. The Spartans, who started the season 3-0, are now 3-3.
MBU sophomore Karl Russell (Ireland) and junior Ryan Harris (Alton, Ill./Lewis & Clark C.C.) each scored a goal for the Spartans. Freshman Ivan Milicevic (St. Louis, Mo./Mehlville H.S.) earned an assist. Junior goal keeper Ger Coppinger (Ireland) recorded seven saves.
 
The Spartans will travel to Arkansas on Tuesday to try to break their losing skid against The University of the Ozarks.
