Point Lookout, Mo.- After their tough loss yesterday, the Missouri Baptist women's basketball were looking to get back to their winning ways against Haskell Indian Nations University. The team was up 24 points at the half and cruised to the 94-58 victory. 
 
The teams shooting went cold last night and the Spartans wanted to get off to a hot start. MBU did just that, getting out to an early 18-6 lead. Their smallest lead was 21-12 with nine minutes left to go. Missouri Baptist went on to dominate the rest of the half and were up 48-24. 
 
The Spartans shot a much better 46% in the first half and held Haskell Indian Nations to 34%. The team also made seven three pointers in the half.
 
The second half was all Spartans. The team went on a 16-2 run to make it 64-26 at the 14 minute mark. Missouri Baptist never looked back and went on for the 94-58 win.
 
The Spartans shot 50% from the field in the second half and were 15-17 from the free throw line. The team also played strong defense by forcing 25 turnovers.
 
Missouri Baptist was led by Andrea Seabaugh with 30 points and eight rebounds. Lauren Taylor and Mandy Kirby each chipped in 10 points. The team also got offensive help off the bench from Sara Woodgeard with 13 and Haley Elders with 10 points.
 
The teams record moves to 5-4 on the year and will look for their second win in a row when they head to Central Methodist University on December 7th at 7:30 p.m.
