ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist women's tennis had a rough go of it on Tuesday afternoon in a 9-0 shutout loss at the hands of Evangel.

The Spartans did not pick-up a point until No. 3 singles as Nicole Zevlever played Ali Siuinski to an 8-4 loss. Shelby Mund and Sheena Payton made it close at No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Mund and Payton both dropped their matches 8-5.

Missouri Baptist is scheduled for a 11:00 a.m. tilt with Lindenwood-Belleville on Wednesday afternoon.
