ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist men's lacrosse posted its fifth win in six games on Friday evening in a 14-2 commanding victory over Wabash College.
Missouri Baptist (7-5) has come on strong since March 23 and has lost just one match since that time. Friday's performance was more of the offense that the team had hoped for earlier in the season.
Ian Brosch posted four goals in the match and now leads the Spartans with 35 goals on the year. The senior from Seckman high school also went 8-12 from the faceoff circle.
Freshman Aaron McClintock continued to impress on Friday. McClintock has found his offense of late and notched four goals of his own. Brian Bouas added two goals and an assist while Freshman Adam Trelow recorded his first multi-point game of his career with two goals.
Ben Bowler was in net again for the Spartans and had another nice game. The sophomore recorded five saves on the night.
Missouri Baptist will face DePaul on Saturday in the final regular season game of 2013.
