Andrew Dafoe has been named a NAIA Men's Lacrosse Third Team All-American following his standout 2026 season.
Dafoe, a native of Midland, Ontario, Canada, started all 16 games for the Spartans and emerged as one of the top defensive players in the NAIA. He finished the season with 83 ground balls and 41 caused turnovers while also contributing offensively with two goals and five assists for seven points.
His 83 ground balls led Missouri Baptist and averaged 5.19 per game. Dafoe recorded double-digit ground ball totals twice during the season, including a season-high 17 ground balls in an 18-5 victory over Columbia on Feb. 21. He also posted 10 ground balls against Montreat on Feb. 20.
Dafoe's ability to disrupt opposing offenses was evident throughout the season. He registered a season-high six caused turnovers in Missouri Baptist's 36-0 win over Missouri Valley on March 14 and recorded five caused turnovers in victories over Ottawa and Clarke later in the season. He totaled at least three caused turnovers in seven contests.
Offensively, Dafoe scored goals against Montreat and Missouri Valley while posting a season-high two assists and two points in a 15-1 victory at Midland on April 11. He added assists in wins over Ottawa and Clarke and finished the year with 15 shots and eight shots on goal.
The All-America recognition marks one of the highest individual honors in NAIA men's lacrosse and highlights Dafoe's impact as a key contributor on the Spartan defense throughout the 2026 campaign.
