ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist University men's lacrosse earned multiple postseason recognitions following the conclusion of the 2026 campaign, highlighted by graduate student Andrew Dafoe being named both First Team All-Conference and an All-American. Senior Joe Busselman also represented the Spartans on the postseason list with Second Team All-Conference honors.
Dafoe earned First Team All-Conference honors before later earning All-American honors for his standout season. Dafoe finished the year among the team leaders offensively while continuing to establish himself as one of the top players in the NAIA ranks.
His play on both ends of the field provided consistency and energy for Missouri Baptist during conference competition. Dafoe started in all 16 games and contributed 83 ground balls. He also added seven points and 15 shots. Dafoe continued to be a reliable contributor for the Spartans and played an important role in the team's success across the 2026 season.
Busselman put together one of the top offensive seasons in the conference, serving as a key piece of Missouri Baptist's attack throughout the year. His consistent scoring ability, leadership, and impact in conference play helped him secure Second Team All-Conference recognition. Busselman netted 47 goals and 20 assists, totaling 67 points this season. He added 20 ground balls and 84 shots on goal.
The postseason honors recognize the hard work and dedication displayed by the Spartans throughout the year as Missouri Baptist competed in another challenging Heart of America Athletic Conference season.
