ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist women's tennis struggled on Saturday and were shut-out 5-0 by Concordia University (Neb.) in the team's final home game of the season.
Missouri Baptist made it interesting at No. 3 doubles, but the team of Lindsey Kuehnel and Shelby Mund fell to Mikaela Barz and Liz Kjellsen 8-6.
The team played just two singles matches on the day as Concordia's Chelsea Haack defeated Hannah Wadlow 6-1, 6-2 and Grace Hollenbeck bested MBU's Haley Grueber 6-1, 6-0.
With the loss, MBU fell to 3-9 on the year and will head to Evangel University to compete in the conference tournament on April 26-27.
