ST. LOUIS – [RESULTS] Missouri Baptist picked-up one singles match over the weekend as the team was handed a loss by Evangel University, who received votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Missouri Baptist's Sheena Payton picked-up the lone win on the day for the Spartans with a 2-6, 7-6 (10-4) win over Evangel's Emily Cook at No. 5 singles.

MBU dropped to 1-6 on the year but will look to rebound in its next match on Saturday, March 29 at home against Graceland University
