WILDCATS HANDLE SPARTANS IN TENNIS CONFERENCE CLASH

ST. LOUIS – [RESULTSMissouri Baptist picked-up two conference wins in women's tennis against Baker University, but dropped some tight matches down the stretch in a 7-2 loss on Kansas on Tuesday.    

Nika Jurcic and Nicole Savant both grabbed wins for MBU in the contest, but the match was lost due to three extremely tight doubles matches.

Jurcic and Shelby Mund dropped No. 1 doubles to Megan Henry and Jamie Meyers 9-8 while No. 2 and No. 3 doubles teams of Kat Randolph/Haley Grueber and Sheena Payton/Nicole Savant both came-up just short in 8-5 losses.

MBU stay on the road for its next match on April 11th when the team heads to Stephens College to take-on the Stars. First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Columbia, Mo.
