MEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO LINDENWOOD-BELLEVILLE 10-4

ST. LOUIS – The Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx took advantage of scoring in bunches, as the Missouri Baptist men's lacrosse team fell, 10-4. The Spartans fall to 8-6 on the season.

Missouri Baptist used an opening faceoff win to score the first goal of the game. Ben Eder went high-low to put MBU up 1-0.

Less than five minutes later, the Lynx tied the game at 1-1.

A few minutes later, Lindenwood-Belleville scored two more goals and held a 3-1 lead after one quarter of play.

The Lynx added three more goals in the second quarter and held a 6-1 lead at the half.

Dan Mollet got the scoring started with an unassisted goal in the 3rd quarter. That cut the deficit to 6-2.

Lindenwood-Belleville took advantage after being a man up by blasting a goal to make it 7-2 in the 3rdquarter.

The Lynx added three more goals to take a commanding 10-2 lead heading into the 4th quarter.

In the fourth, Eder netted his second goal of the game to cut the deficit to 10-3.

Griffin Trotter scored his first goal of the game, but unfortunately, it would be the last goal of the game for MBU, as they fell 10-4.

Missouri Baptist will host Saint Ambrose on Friday at 1 pm. The contest will be the annual Senior Day for MBU.
