ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist men's lacrosse team came out on top in their season and home opener against Asbury University. The Spartans came out as the victor over the Eagles with a final score of 9-5. 

Freshman Tim Borroff led MBU with four goals and one assist on the night. Also putting points up for the Spartans were Austin Dahl (three goals, one assist), Aaron McClintock (one goal, one assist), andLorisio Mehmeti (one goal).

Senior goalie Ben Bowler held Asbury to five goals with 10 saves on the night.

Missouri Baptist will hit the field on March 7 to play DePaul University at CBC field. Gametime is set for 11:00 a.m.
