ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist women's tennis season came to an end on Friday when the Spartans fell to Missouri Valley, 6-0, at the NAIA Regional Tournament.

The Vikings took a 3-0 lead after doubles play, but the No. 3 duo of Haley Grueber and Lindsey Kuehnel nearly pulled-off the victory. The two fell, 8-6.

Missouri Valley needed just three singles victories to eliminate the Spartans.
