ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist Women's Tennis lost to University Missouri - St. Louis (Mo.) 9-0.

The Spartans battled hard, but ultimately conceded defeat 9-0.

"They are a very composed group of young girls. They stayed calm, competitive and positive," said Head Coach Cole Stevenson. "Facing that level of competition is not easy, but it will definitely help them not only this season, but next season as well."

Missouri Baptist hosts Missouri Valley College (Mo.) on April 1. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m.
