ST. LOUIS [BOX SCORE] – The Missouri Baptist men's lacrosse team defeated Aquinas College (Mich.) 13-6 in Chicago, Ill. on Saturday. 

Both teams notched their first goals in the first quarter to tie things up right away.

The Spartans snatched the lead in the second quarter with four goals and held the Saints to one.

MBU held Aquinas to one goal yet again in the third quarter as the Spartans continued to advance their lead with three of the four goals in the quarter.

The Saints began to challenge Missouri Baptist in the fourth quarter as they posted three goals in the quarter. The Spartans, however, found net five more times before the final buzzer sounded for a 13-6 victory.

Austin Dahl led the offense with four goals in the match-up. Devin Mayer followed closely behind three goals of his own.

Robert Ates had another big performance in goals with 19 saves and only six goals against on the day.

MBU will have a brief time off before facing Missouri State next weekend on Friday, April 22.
